The Ivy Brasserie Restaurant

Looking for restaurants in York with style and first class cuisine… Our AA 2 rosette Ivy Brasserie restaurant has an unpretentious approach to top quality dining - a traditional UK hotel restaurant it is not! Enjoy modern classics prepared using the freshest of locally sourced seasonal ingredients. The Ivy Brasserie restaurant is open to both residents and non-residents of the hotel. It's open for lunch on Sundays and for dinner  Monday to Thursday 6.30 pm - 9.30 pm and Friday & Saturday 6.30 - 10 pm.  It has an extensive wine list which perfectly complements the depth of flavours our menus offer.

Enjoy 3 courses for the price of 2 Monday to Saturday before 7.30 pm.

The Ivy Brasserie serves a delicious traditional Sunday lunch from 12.30 - 2.30 pm.

The New York Grill & Cafe Bar - one of the finest places to eat in York

Here’s a great restaurant in York to enjoy getting together with friends or colleagues. With three 42" plasma televisions and all the latest sporting action, The New York Grill & Café Bar serves an extensive range of dishes in a relaxed and informal restaurant setting. Situated in the hotel's original brick vaulted cellars, our New York Grill & Café Bar restaurant is open to both residents and non-residents of the hotel and also available for exclusive private hire.


From 10 am – 6 pm, Monday to Friday, The New York Grill & Café Bar is now open for breakfast, hot and cold sandwiches, salads, lunch and afternoon tea. There’s also an excellent children’s menu.


Opening Hours:
Monday to Friday: Open from 10 am – 9.30 pm (10.00 pm on Friday) for brunch, coffee, sandwiches, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.
Saturdays: Open for lunch from 12.00 - 2.00 pm and for dinner from 6 pm – 10 pm
Sundays: Open for dinner from 6.00 – 9.30 pm.
