The Ivy Brasserie

The Ivy Brasserie can be found in the cellars of The Grange Hotel; a contemporary 2 Rosette eatery serving classic food with a French influence.

What you’re getting – A quirky and atmospheric mix of melting candles and exposed brickwork with industrial lighting adding an edge to the proceedings. The Ivy Brasserie marries the unique heritage of our cellars with a relaxed and informal environment. Chef, Will Nicol, deals in gutsy flavours and supporting British farmers is central to his ethos, using dedicated Yorkshire producers wherever possible.

What else? – In 2015 we underwent substantial refurbishment, however our approach, team and values remain the same. We have also created an additional restaurant area aptly called The Vault; a casual dining space that complements The Grange and is perfect for smaller private parties.

Music Nights 

Join us for our live music events on the first Friday of the month where The Ivy Brasserie will be hosting local artists from 7pm. If you enjoy great food and fantastic music, complemented by the warmest welcome in York, then our Friday Night Live events are perfect for you.
