A Chocolate Afternoon Tea and Britain’s Newest Tourist Attraction make a great York Short Break
A brand new short break package themed around the City of York’s chocolate heritage is now bookable to co-incide with the launch of the major new attraction “Chocolate - York’s Sweet Story” this Easter, which opened at the end of March.
The “York Chocolate City Break” has been created by The Grange Hotel, one of York’s finest Regency town houses, to attract the millions of people who love the numerous chocolate treats and sweets which have been manufactured for over 100 years in York by Terrys, Nestle Rowntree and Cravens.
Whilst touring “Chocolate, York’s Sweet Story”, visitors can try their hand at making chocolate as well as taking an interactive tour of the attraction which recounts the story of York’s strong links to chocolate and confectionary through the ages.
The “York Chocolate City Break” at The Grange, which is located near York Minster and the City Walls, includes two nights’ bed and breakfast sharing one of the hotel’s lovely double rooms, dinner on one night, a Chocolate Afternoon Tea and entrance to the new visitor attraction.
