The York Pass gives you free admission to over 70 attractions in Yorkshire, with over 27 of these attractions being in York.  You can visit York Castle Museum, The York Dungeon, Fairfax House, York Minster and the stunning recently re-opened Yorkshire Museum. Housed in a beautiful Georgian mansion in Museum Gardens, just a 10 minute stroll away from The Grange Hotel, the Museum is light bright and very accessible for all. There’s a superb 10 minute audio visual presentation on the history of York and displays detailing the life in Roman York, Medieval York and a fascinating exhibition documenting the extinction of different species. There’s a wonderful 15m dinosaur skeleton uncovered in Whitby.
