Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum! If you’re a serious rum connoisseur or a Captain Jack Sparrow nut, our rum tasting experience is an absolute riot for all!
Rum the spirit with dark connections to piracy and slavery is growing in popularity in the UK, an 18% growth last year alone. There are over 150 brands of rum available in the UK and whilst many are still made in the Caribbean there is a steady increase in UK rum distillers. Join us at The Grange Hotel for a rum voyage in partnership with Catherine from Still & Heart. Just a stone’s throw from the historic city centre, The Grange offers a luxurious base to enjoy your experience.
You will be welcomed to the experience with a rum based cocktail. Then discover more about the history of rum before sampling rums from 3 different categories. Finally, guests are invited to create their own rum cocktail to enjoy with food.
